2. Is technical documentation on Game Channel available?

Documentation is updated permanently, please keep your version of SDK up to date so you will have documentation on all the latest features. This resource also contains a few game samples with source code ready to be compiled and executed under the Game Channel. You will also find helpful tools for testing and debugging of your own games.

3. We want to provide a game for your platform. What is the next step?

Currently the Game Channel only supports Flash games mainly due to security policy reasons, however we are considering making other compatible formats in the near future. If you believe your company's game fits the criteria for Skype Game Channel, please provide us with a demo, or if a game is in development stage, a game design document, so that the games can be evaluated. The farther along it is, the easier it will be for us to determine if your game is right for Skype Game Channel.

Not much, really. You will only have to create an HTML, insert your game and GameController (Game Channel's AX representative) in it and establish connection between them by means of Action Script. GameController provides the complete set of tools for your game, like data transfer, players' invitation etc. All this is described in detail in our SDK resource.

6. What are your plans about games' business model?

Game channel is based on revenue share model.
Recommended retail prices (USD/EUR): 4.99 for simple games, 9.99 for more advanced multilevel games.

7. About the SDK... What languages will it support? Java? ActionScript? Others?

As Game Channel currently supports only Flash games, now only HTML based games can be accepted, therefore JavaScript, VBScript and ActionScript are available.

8. What types of games are currently supported?

Currently Skype Game Channel supports multiplayer and singleplayer games. It also supports tournament mode for singleplayer games with a score table rating for all players.
